Insurance and Coverage
- Denti-Cal
- Confirmed Yes. Confirmed in the state's fee for service provider listing, enrolled since 2005
- Medi-Cal plan type
- Fee for service. Medi-Cal dental also runs through managed care plans in Sacramento and Los Angeles counties, and the state list we check does not cover those. If you are on a dental plan card rather than plain Medi-Cal, ask the office whether they take your plan.
- Safety net clinic
- Yes. Clinics like this usually see patients with Medi-Cal, with other public coverage, and with no coverage at all on a sliding scale. Ask what they charge if you are uninsured.
- Other insurance
- Not known. This list is built around Medi-Cal dental, so it does not track private plans. Ask the office which ones they take.
What Patients Said
3.7 out of 5 from 18 reviews.
My wife and I started seeing Dr. Rojas around 7 years ago, as a recommendation from my coworker. He has been amazing in all our dental care and the staff treats us like we are family. It’s always a pleasant experience and the staff is amazing. When I first became a patient, Dr. Rojas was able to successfully replace a crown that I had done almost 20 years ago, when my old dentist office said the tooth would need to be removed, due to how much of the original tooth was left. And for the first time in years, my teeth are no longer sensitive to cold temperatures. We have since had our child and he is now a patient. I recommend him to everyone that needs a dentist.

My son was seen in March and was told he needed a root canal. So the insurance company approved treatment March 24th and its Sept 3rd and still nothing from this office. Everytime I call the receptionist ay Rojas they tell me they are waiting for the approval. So I've personally called insurance company several times to ask for them to resend. I called Rojas office today asked receptionist if she or someone from this office could help bc this issue needed to be resolved Ive done all I can and was told no one in the office had time to call the insurance company. I then asked to talk to billing or someone that filed insurance claims she said no one had time to wait 45 mins to a hour and a half to talk to someone. I hung phone and was on the phone with the insurance rep and had the insurance calling Rojas office within 7 mins. This office is clean but Vey Unprofessional, needs staff that are willing to work.
