Thompson Pediatric Dentistry is North Nashville's own family-owned, board-certified pediatric dentist — just off Jefferson Street, down the boulevard from Meharry Medical College. Dr. Barbara Thompson, trained at Meharry and Howard University, cares for children from their first tooth around age one through the teen years, including kids with special healthcare needs. Every family is welcome here, and so is every comfort option: a gentle tell-show-do approach, nitrous (laughing gas), in-office IV sedation, and hospital dentistry — so even anxious children are treated safely by a doctor they trust. TennCare and most major insurance plans are welcome. Now accepting new patients.
