In the Office's Own Words

Dr. Shea has been practicing dentistry since 1997. She earned her Bachelor Degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Colorado. As a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service, she served four and a half years with the Indian Health Service providing dental care at the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in Belcourt, North Dakota.Her concern for children while working on the reservation spurred her interest in continuing her education in pediatric dentistry. The world-renowned programs available at Eastman Dental Center/University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital brought her to Rochester.
