Our mission at Central Jersey Dental Sleep Medicine is to help sleep apnea sufferers find REAL solutions to their sleep problems. Obstructive sleep apnea is a medical condition that occurs when your airway is blocked, resulting in a slowing or stopping of breathing while you sleep. Sleep apnea appliances work by comfortably guiding your lower jaw into a forward position during sleep, which prevents collapse of your airway. Oral therapies and appliances can make a huge difference in your life. These appliances are very effective at treating sleep apnea, and they are also portable, lightweight, and better tolerated than other treatments such as CPAP!
