After earning a master's degree in chemistry and his DMD, Dr. Szarek has continued post-graduate studies at the rate of 100 hours per year, about five times what the Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires. In 2013, he became one of only four dentists in Massachusetts to achieve accreditation in cosmetic dentistry.
