Aloha! Along with traditional treatments and cosmetic dental services, our practice is committed to our patients' overall health. During our traditional dental examination, we check for airway-related dysfunction, such as teeth grinding/crowded teeth/snoring, to name a few. Together with your medical history, these symptoms may point to obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) or upper airway resistance syndrome (UARS). These are connected to larger health concerns such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke & more. If an airway-related issue is present, we work collaboratively with your physician and our growing network of healthcare providers who understand the dental/medical connection for your integrated wellness.
