NOT GOOD WITH KIDS!!!!! I recently took my 5 year old for a cavity procedure & it started off well until he experienced getting the anesthetic injection for the 1st time. Anyone who has ever got one knows how painful or uncomfortable it can be. Of course my little boy started crying but was still cooperating until the dentist said he had to take x-rays from the right side because they forgot to take them the 1st time. My son was already upset & numb from his mouth at that point, he was crying & not cooperating. The dentist would yell at him “Stop crying! Stop crying! You’ll only make this harder if you keep crying!”. She wanted that x-ray done so bad because she wanted to get cavities on the right side out the way that same day. She then told me “Your insurance might not cover if you have to come back. So if they don’t pay us, YOU need to pay us ok?”. I knew insurance was going to cover. I bit my tongue so hard & did not speak up at the moment which I regret so bad but definitely speaking up on here for anyone who is thinking of bringing their children to this rude lady. There are lots of kid friendly dentists out there! :) I highly recommend to do your research & read the reviews.

I've been going here since I was a child. Dr. Jernigan has always loved my family and I will always love her. She's no ordinary dentist. She actually cares for her patients and treats them like she would treat her own.
She's willing to work with you if you don't have money on you immediately with a payment plan.
Dr. Jernigan deserves the best. Her dentist office is seriously underrated and her love is unlike any other.

Loved the small family feel this place has. Dr.Jernigan is so friendly and does a great job at keeping up with her patients. Every check up has been a pleasant experience for me. Her and her team treat all patients fair, honest and kind. Will not offer services to make money like most.
