- Not confirmed This office is listed as taking Denti-Cal but we could not find it in the current state listing. That is not the same as a no, so call and ask.
- Medi-Cal plan type
- Fee for service. Medi-Cal dental also runs through managed care plans in Sacramento and Los Angeles counties, and the state list we check does not cover those. If you are on a dental plan card rather than plain Medi-Cal, ask the office whether they take your plan.
- Other insurance
- Not known. This list is built around Medi-Cal dental, so it does not track private plans. Ask the office which ones they take.
What Patients Said
3.2 out of 5 from 590 reviews.
Overall Healthcare was decent, some good nurses and the surgeons are great and know what theyre doing, however patient care and customer service is awful. Coming out of surgery they dont allow someone to be present when waking and getting after care instructions. They will give instructions while patient isnt fully out of anesthesia and pain meds and get rude when they need to call and confirm aftercare. They didnt provide all the paperwork needed and promised and blame you and are incredibly rude when trying to request the needed documentation. They say up to days to receive a workers letter and refuse to get you in contact with someone who will actually help. If you can choose other Healthcare you should.

The receptionist and staff are so nice and helpful. I take my dad here for his appointments and they always treat him with kindness. The nurse practitioner in the adult medicine clinic was also wonderful. She took her time and explained everything in detail. It is so different and refreshing compared with our visit to another hospital where doctors were in a hurry.

Woke up at 6am. Got to Kaiser at 9am. Sat there until 1pm before finally being called in. Then waited AGAIN until almost 3pm just for the doctor to tell me I was apparently supposed to be on the seventh floor the entire time.
So let’s talk about the level of incompetence here.
Three different staff members talked to me. Multiple people read my paperwork during triage. Not one person caught that I was in the wrong place for SIX HOURS. Then the doctor says, “They should have told you that,” like that magically gives me my entire day back.
And after wasting basically a full work shift of my life, the grand solution was: “Call tomorrow at 7am and see if there’s a same-day appointment available.”
SEE if there’s one available.
Not even an appointment. Not even help. Just wake up early and gamble another day of your life because this hospital cannot get its own staff on the same page.
Some people can’t afford to play these games. Some of us don’t have endless gas money, endless free time, or comfortable homes to go back to while the hospital figures itself out. I’m homeless, working constantly, and still showed up doing everything right. Meanwhile the people actually getting paid couldn’t even manage to direct me to the correct floor.
This place operates like nobody values patients as actual human beings. Your time means nothing to them. Your schedule means nothing to them. Your struggle means nothing to them.
Six hours wasted because nobody bothered paying attention.
If this is how badly they handle basic communication, I would never trust this place with anything serious.
