Insurance and Coverage
- Denti-Cal
- Not confirmed This office is listed as taking Denti-Cal but we could not find it in the current state listing. That is not the same as a no, so call and ask.
- Medi-Cal plan type
- Fee for service. Medi-Cal dental also runs through managed care plans in Sacramento and Los Angeles counties, and the state list we check does not cover those. If you are on a dental plan card rather than plain Medi-Cal, ask the office whether they take your plan.
- Other insurance
- Not known. This list is built around Medi-Cal dental, so it does not track private plans. Ask the office which ones they take.
What Patients Said
4.5 out of 5 from 197 reviews.
The front desk was pleasant. Behind the scenes felt a little off though. Not very warm. I didn’t understand what we were doing. When the dentist finally got to me he was awful. I was a new client but he didn’t greet me, introduce himself, look at my teeth, or anything that I would have expected. Going off of what I had told the assistant (crown fell out and another damaged tooth) he simply walked in, said we’ll extract those teeth and go from there, then he walked off. What if there was something that needed to be addressed and could have been done that day, but we will never know because he did everything he could to get out of there as fast as possible. If I drive 20 minutes to your office where I waited another 30 minutes to be seen you can at least slow down and treat me as a person. I will not be coming back. 1st impressions and all.

Once again, my son and I had to wait an hour (sometimes more) past his appointment time. We arrived prior to his set appointment to ensure all potential paperwork and check in was done before his actual appointment time. His appointment time passed. After about 20 minutes past I told the receptionist we had another appointment to get to and if he wasn’t seen soon we’d have to reschedule (it takes forever to get an appointment). She told me they were waiting for an open chair (dentist). We continued to wait and I watched 4 people leave. I went back to the receptionist and she said she’d go check on things, but that she didn’t think a seat was open yet. (Even though she checked several people out). We continued to wait for about another 30 minutes. Once we were finally in they rushed through his appointment and told me to not worry about checking out. My thought is that they just checked us out while we were there to make it seem like we left before we actually did so they didn’t look so bad record wise. It’s like this all the time. Not sure if this is just how we get treated or if it’s like this for everyone. Either way, there’s room for improvement.

Honestly, the best dentists I've ever had! Dr. Kim and Dr. T are really gentle and communication is great. The staff from the front to the back have always been very professional and kind. You can't blame them for being hard to book, it shows that they're running a great service.
