I had an excellent experience with my dental nurse Maria. She was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable throughout my visit. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood each step of the process, which helped me feel comfortable and informed. Her positive attitude and friendly personality made the entire experience much more enjoyable. She was patient, attentive, and truly cared about providing great care. Thank you for making my visit such a positive one I highly recommend her to anyone looking for outstanding dental care!

Maria was very kind and helpful and clear about what is happening and provided all the information we needed. Dr. Farris is very knowledgeable and is able to provide better treatment with less pain, the staff Kayla is nice and understanding if you step away for a little snack and won’t put you to the side when stepping back in ,the wait time was quick and reasonable.

I am writing this review as a concerned daughter and patient advocate after a very disappointing experience at this dental office.
Throughout my mother’s treatment, we experienced poor communication, inconsistent information, and a lack of professionalism. Giselle, the Office Manager, repeatedly provided contradictory statements regarding which procedures had already been completed and which procedures still needed to be done, making it extremely difficult to understand my mother’s treatment plan. Rather than providing clear and transparent answers, she often appeared evasive when questioned about my mother’s care.
At one point, I informed Giselle that I would be recording our conversation for documentation and record-keeping purposes. Despite being fully aware of this, her demeanor changed significantly, and she appeared increasingly defensive and unwilling to engage in a productive conversation regarding my mother’s treatment. As a patient advocate, I was simply seeking clarity, transparency, and accountability, none of which were provided.
Additionally, my mother had to be injected with local anesthesia twice because the procedure was not managed properly. Watching her undergo unnecessary discomfort was frustrating and concerning.
I was also disturbed by what I observed regarding sanitation practices. During my mother’s treatment, I witnessed the general dentist touch equipment and surrounding surfaces and then continue treatment without changing gloves before placing his hands back inside my mother’s mouth, which contained open wounds from ongoing dental procedures. This raised serious concerns for me regarding patient safety, infection control, and proper hygiene protocols.
What was most troubling, however, was our interaction with the general dentist who performed the deep cleaning and attempted to fit my mother’s partial dentures. After hearing me speak Spanish with my mother, he asked whether I spoke English. I found this question inappropriate and unprofessional. I immediately informed him that I do speak English. As a bilingual family, we felt there was little consideration, respect, or sensitivity toward Spanish-speaking patients. Experiences like this can make patients feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
As I continued seeking answers, I requested my mother’s medical records and noticed information that did not appear to align with previous conversations we had regarding an alleged outstanding balance. This only added to the confusion and concerns we already had regarding communication and record accuracy.
I also requested the Office Manager’s last name so I could properly document our interactions, but that information was not provided. When I attempted to obtain clarification regarding my mother’s treatment and account, I felt that information was being withheld from us rather than openly discussed. Instead of addressing my concerns directly, Giselle removed herself from the conversation and directed another employee to provide a customer service number. As someone simply seeking accurate information regarding my mother’s care, I found this response disappointing, dismissive, and unprofessional.
This office demonstrated poor communication, disorganization, lack of transparency, and inadequate consideration for bilingual patients. The contradictory information we received, the unnecessary discomfort my mother experienced, the sanitation concerns I observed, and the overall handling of our concerns have caused us to completely lose confidence in this practice.
It is a shame that we had this experience. I do not recommend that local community members seek treatment at this office for dental procedures. I will be escalating these concerns to corporate management and hope meaningful action is taken to ensure future patients are treated with the professionalism, respect, transparency, and quality of care they deserve.
