We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Pokala and the entire team. I take both of my kids here, and they genuinely love going to the dentist—which says a lot!
My son, who is on the spectrum, has made incredible progress over time, and that’s truly thanks to the patience, understanding, and care shown by the office. They never rush, always take the time to make him feel comfortable, and celebrate even the smallest wins.
The staff is consistently kind, gentle, and accommodating, which makes every visit smooth and stress-free for our family. I’m so grateful to have found a pediatric dental office that is not only skilled but also so compassionate. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Pokala for your child's dentist! Especially if your child has needs! Dr. Pokala is such a soft spoken lady. She and her team are the best. They are on top of everything. They make sure everything will get done and go thru it smoothly.
My daughter has autism. She refuses to be seen or touched by anyone. Every dentist visit for the last 11 years was unsuccessful. This time around, I wanted my daughter to get some blood works and couple of vaccines done. In order to get it done, I had called Dr. Pokala's clinic. Right there, I explained what i wanted done, also since my daughter hasn't had a successful dentist appointment, it was suggested that she needed to be seen by Dr. Pokala since she wasn't seen by her and was seeing a different dentist. So, we made the visit to get seen by Dr. Pokala. Right there, she knew it would be impossible to examine my daughter's teeth or mouth and she had recommended to be under anesthesia. My husband and I agreed. Dr. Pokala cares for the safety of everyone. We scheduled the dental procedure.
On the day of the procedure at Rady's hospital. Dr. Pokala and the entire team was amazing! They were very helpful. They made sure my daughter was comfortable. They made there was enough staffs to make sure that the procedure will go smooth. Honestly in my daughter's case we needed so many bodies to hold her down so the anethesialogist was able to place the sleeping mask on her. Thanks to them! She knocked out right away! Everything was well explained from the nurse to anesthesialogist to Dr. Pokala to discharging my daughter. Procedure went well. Also, at recovery nurses were so helpful. I am glad we went with Dr. Pokala!
I highly recommend her for your child's dentist!

Most other dental offices I’ve gone to get us in and out pretty quickly. While thorough at Pokala’s, the wait time drags significantly. My son waited over an hour since the time he checked in until he was seen which is unacceptable from my perspective. I think they really need to work on what potential changes they can make to the process to help it flow Faster. Perhaps people filling out key update information in a tool online before showing up might be helpful. Just different ideas to Help the process because it seems like other offices have figured this out better.
Beyond that, Dr. Pokala is amazing and we love going to her. If they figure the recipe out above, my review would change to five stars.
