Going to the dentist is often like going to a mechanic—you usually don’t know exactly what’s going on, and there’s always the risk of being charged for things that aren’t truly necessary. That’s why it’s important to trust your dentist’s opinion.
I’ve been to other dentists before, and honestly, it felt like they were just trying to milk me for money—probably to pay off their car or house. But Dr. Harry H. Elyassi was different. He offered options, was transparent, and said, “Let’s try this first, and if it doesn’t work, we’ll go to the next step.” I really appreciated that honesty.
I hadn’t originally planned to visit this office. The first time I went, it was during lunch time and there wasn’t any sign outside, so I left. Later, their receptionist called me, I gave them my insurance information, and they confirmed my insurance was covered—so I decided to give it another try.
Dr. Elyassi accepts most insurance plans. While I’m not sure about the cash prices, which may be higher than what’s billed to insurance, everything seemed fair.
One standout staff member is Hermineh, an exceptional dental assistant who made my entire experience more comfortable. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcomed and cared for. During the procedure, she checked on me at least six times to make sure I was doing okay—something I’ve never had happen at any other dentist. She was gentle, professional, and clearly very experienced. You can tell she genuinely cares about patients and takes pride in her work. If you visit, you might want to ask for Hermineh—she’s the kind of person who makes a stressful situation feel manageable. Honestly, she’s one of the best dental assistants I’ve ever met.
Dr. Elyassi also listens to his patients and goes the extra mile to resolve any issues. He’s even addressing some challenges with the building itself to improve the overall experience.
And one thing I really liked: all the treatment rooms have windows. It might sound like a small thing, but most dental offices in California are enclosed spaces without natural light. Having windows makes the environment feel more open, calming, and less clinical.

I highly recommend Atrium Dental. The front desk is very polite and courteous. The technician that helped me was very attentive Dr. Elyassi thoroughly explained my options, which were only absolutely necessary procedures. Nothing extra. The office is exactly what you want in a dentist’s office, very neat and clean with up-to-date equipment.
